How upside down text works
Upside down text uses Unicode characters from the International Phonetic Alphabet and mathematical symbol sets that visually resemble standard Latin letters rotated 180 degrees. For example, a becomes ɐ, e becomes ǝ, and h becomes ɥ. These are real Unicode characters that copy and paste anywhere Unicode is supported - which is effectively everywhere.
Why platform-specific copy matters
Twitter/X has a 280 character limit - if your reversed text exceeds it, the platform copy panel warns you and shows the count. Discord renders certain Unicode differently than web browsers.
